Michigan Board of Nursing Scholarship

The Nursing Professional Scholarship is awarded to students who are enrolled in the core courses of either the LPN or ADN programs. Preference is given to full-time students and the recipient must be a permanent resident in the State of Michigan. Recipients must intend to practice within the state of Michigan in an underserved area, with an underserved population, or in a health profession shortage area. (Currently, all of Michigan qualifies as underserved.) Students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0. Selection will also be based on character, citizenship, community participation, extra-curricular actives financial need, completeness of the scholarship application and how well the application is written.
